2026 Hail Estimating Tunnel
Traditional hail inspections often require technicians to mark dents on a vehicle with grease pencils or other markers so they can be photographed and counted. While that method has been used for years, it can sometimes lead to unnecessary contact with the paint surface, and in some cases may cause fine scratches in the vehicle’s clearcoat.
Our Hail Estimating Tunnel eliminates that process entirely.
Inside the tunnel, specialized lighting is used to reveal hail dents across every panel of the vehicle. These lights create precise reflections that make even the smallest dents visible without touching or marking the vehicle. This allows our technicians to photograph and document damage clearly and accurately while keeping your vehicle’s finish protected.
The results speak for themselves.
Proper documentation from the beginning is one of the most important steps in ensuring your claim is processed smoothly and your vehicle is repaired correctly.
Compared to the old method of trying to capture dents in normal lighting conditions, there is simply no comparison.
Proper documentation from the beginning is one of the most important steps in ensuring your claim is processed smoothly and your vehicle is repaired correctly.
For this reason, we strongly advise customers not to take their own photos and submit them to the insurance company. While it may seem helpful, this often results in incomplete documentation, which can lead to delays in your claim and delays in the repair process
If your vehicle has been exposed to hail, we invite you to learn more about our process by visiting our page Free Hail Evaluation. This quick evaluation helps determine if your vehicle qualifies for Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) and ensures your hail claim begins with the proper documentation and expert guidance.
That one simple step can save you time, money, and a whole lot of frustration.

What is PDR?
Paintless Dent Repair (PDR), also known as Paintless Dent Removal, is an environmentally friendly repair method that restores a vehicle’s body to factory-like condition in a fraction of the time at a fraction of the cost. PDR can be used to remove dings and dents from vehicles, as well as body creases and hail damage. The paintless dent repair process involves four primary steps, outlined below:
- Assess the damage
- Gain entry to the dent
- Get a better look at the dent
